Celendin and Oxamarca ruins

The place is located at a hundred kilometers from Cajamarca. The city of Celendin is known because of having adopted the Spanish lifestyle, whereas none of the other cities did. The inhabitants have white skin, they do not speak Quechua, and the colonial houses and the white church are dominantly noticeable. The Sunday market is particularly animated and colored. There are ruins at a dozen kilometers from there. They are situated near Oxamarca at 3000 m altitude on a hill from where the view of the valley is unique.
